Recently, I found Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheets at my local discount grocery store for 2 for $1.00. I wasn't quite sure what I would make with them, but figured for that price I needed to get some! So I'll be sharing two recipes that use these dough sheets and today is the first one-15 minute Garlic Cheese Twists. These really are made in 15 minutes. About 5 minutes of prep and 10 minutes of baking.Yesterday I had my main dish done already and I had just thrown some corn on the cob in a pot of boiling water, but I wanted some bread. So I made these really quick and they were the perfect last minute addition to my meal.
These are the ingredients-
1 Pillsbury Crescent Dough Sheet (you could probably sub regular crescent rolls)
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 TB Butter
1/2 - 1 tsp garlic salt (use more or less to suit your tastes)
Melt butter and add your garlic salt.
Roll your crescent dough sheet out.
Using a pizza cutter, cut your dough into strips.
Fold a strip in half and twist.
Liberally brush the garlic butter over the twists.
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
